English First Mega Centre
English First is a language school in Shanghai. The centre contains classrooms facilities and computer labs on level 3 and administrative staff on Level 4. With a concept that learning goes beyond the classrooms, the design creates a series of social interactive spaces such as cafes, snooker corner, stadium seats, etc, for students to mingle and experience communicate activities. The 2 floors are linked by a large flight of stadium seating, with the board room suspended above it in a “wooden” box. Various box like structures are created to achieve mezzanine level computer labs and office spaces.
